We think of the organizations we support as fellow travelers. Each has its own mission, expertise, and route, but we're all headed toward the same destination: a more just and compassionate world. Our work spans local, national, and international efforts, and includes everyone from small grassroots and community groups to larger nonprofit and advocacy organizations. They do the heavy lifting. Our role is to help their work go farther.

ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union)
Founded in 1920, the ACLU has worked to protect the individual freedoms that are the foundation of American democracy, serving as a vital check on government power and defending the rights of people across the political spectrum.

Bright Stars of Bethlehem is the U.S. nonprofit fundraising arm for Dar al-Kalima University, with a campus in Bethlehem, Palestine, and continued work in Gaza. It provides education and cultural programs that support youth and community development.

Cascade Symphony Orchestra
Since 1962, this community orchestra has provided live symphonic performances and music education opportunities in South Snohomish County. RSF covers their annual venue rental costs at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, which frees up their funds to rent the music, bring in guest artists, and keep tickets affordable.

Doctors Without Borders/MSF is an independent international organization that provides lifesaving medical care to the people in more than 70 countries affected by conflict, disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and other humanitarian emergencies.

Edmonds Center for the Arts
Housed in a historic 1930's concert hall that once served the town's high school (Rick attended classes there), it gives local groups like the Cascade Symphony Orchestra a dependable stage and brings a steady mix of performances and community events into the heart of town.

This multi-generational gathering place provides affordable wellness services, meeting space, and a busy schedule of classes and activities. Like the piazzas Rick has long admired in Europe, the Waterfront Center serves as a welcoming place where all can participate in community life.
