6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET | REGISTER

A forward-looking city of leafy boulevards, Neoclassical grandeur, and world-class art, the Berlin of today buzzes with an anything-goes-and-anything's-possible energy — a sharp contrast to its tumultuous 20th century. With the help of expert guide Jeremy Minsberg, we peel back layers of history at Berlin's most powerful sights, pick up travel tips for your next visit, and meander through Prenzlauer Berg, a thriving corner of "real Berlin" untouched by World War II bombs. Along the way, we savor the good life, Berliner style, with a doner Kebab!

6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET | REGISTER

Wedged neatly between Germany, Austria, France, and Italy, Switzerland melds the best of all worlds — with a side of chocolate and cowbells. We explore the lakeside cities of Luzern and Lugano, flowerbox-perfect villages in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and summit cut-glass peaks on a high-flying gondola. Along the way, we demystify the Swiss Travel Pass and slice into a wedge of Appenzeller cheese. Pröschtli! Err, shall we say, salud?

June 23: Two Baltic Gems: Helsinki & Tallinn with Ben Green

6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET | REGISTER

Separated by a two-hour ferry, Helsinki and Tallinn are not only neighbors, but soul sisters. These two capitals share an east-meets-west mélange of cultures, a spirit of resilience, and a deep love of saunas. Resident east-of-the-Rhine expert Ben Green is ready to share his perfect two-city itinerary. In Helsinki, we join Finns on the historic fort Suomenlinna and commemorate their struggle for independence, while in Tallinn we ramble picturesque medieval walls and soak in a hipster reincarnation of a Soviet warehouse district. Hop in the sauna with us for a journey to beautiful Baltic Europe!

June 30: Road-Tripping to America's Ballparks with Travis Parker

6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET | REGISTER

For many Americans, a baseball team's ballpark is as important to its identity as the players on the field: When we think baseball, we also think Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium. Travis Parker is a ballpark guru who writes about the evolution, design, and eternal cultural appeal of ballparks that makes die-hard fans yearn to "see them all." Together, we take a tour through America's ballpark history, tracing how baseball went from glorified cow pastures to modernist structures, like Miami's loanDepot Park — with stops at iconic stadiums like Polo Grounds, Wrigley Field, and the Astrodome along the way.

Watch with Lale Surmen Aran – Central Turkey

This event was recorded on June 2, 2025.

Beyond the intercultural and transcontinental clash of Istanbul, Turkey's parade of wonders marches on as you travel east — from subterranean towns to soaring rock formations. Our beloved Turkey expert Lale Surmen Aran returns to Monday Night Travel to guide us among the marvels of central Turkey. Together, we balloon over breathtaking Cappadocia, explore troglodyte ghost towns, and tour Lale's hometown, the contemporary capital of Ankara. Along the way, we chat with a local imam, pay our respects to the father of modern Turkey, Atatürk, and get to the heart of what it means to be Turkish.
